Developer Update Livestream - June 23, Season of Death Awakening Reveal
Blizzard has announced the next Developer Update Livestream for June 23 at 11:00 a.m. PT, for Season 14: Season of Death Awakening.
What's Being Covered
The stream is the full reveal for the new season, plus the major system changes we've been previewing on the PTR:
Seasonal Content - The seasonal questline, a "familiar adversary", and the new Seasonal Lair Boss.
Major Updates - The Mythic Uniques item rework, class balancing, and the official launch of the Tower and Leaderboards.
Quality of Life - Party War Plans, Solo Self Found, crafting upgrades, and higher currency caps.
There will be a Q&A at the end where the team takes questions directly.
The "Familiar Adversary"
The season's name (Death Awakening) plus the teased "familiar adversary" lines up with a few things we already know. The new Seasonal Lair Boss is a Reaper, the first since Diablo 3. And the PTR patch notes ended with a cryptic line: "Beware the loss of a great power in the world. What comes to fill the void may be worse." Whether the familiar adversary is a returning character or something else entirely, we'll find out on the 23rd.

Twitch Drop - Free Falx Infectus Sword
Watch any stream in the Diablo IV category with drops enabled for 30 minutes during the livestream to earn the Falx Infectus sword cosmetic. You have until June 24 at 10:59 p.m. PT to earn it.
Make sure your Battle.net and Twitch accounts are linked, and remember to manually claim the drop - it won't deliver automatically. You don't need to own Diablo IV or Lord of Hatred to earn it, and background or inactive tabs don't count toward watch time.
