Diablo 4 Patch 3.0.3 - TL;DR
A smaller patch this coming week focused on exploit fixes and quest progression blockers. Here's what matters.
Exploits Squashed
- Double Aspect Transfiguration - You could Transfigure the same Aspect onto an item twice. Fixed.
- Multiple Unique Charms - Could be equipped in certain scenarios outside of Mythic Seal interactions. Fixed.
- Infinite Goblin spawns - A specific War Plan node could trigger endless Goblin spawns. Fixed.
- Infinite Amalgam of Rage - The boss could be infinitely summoned in Nightmare Dungeons using certain War Plan selections. Fixed.
War Plans Fixes
- Duriel's Invasion (the War Plan node that replaces the Blood Maiden with Duriel) wasn't rewarding any Grim Favors on defeat. Fixed - your Whisper progress now counts.
- Choron's Soul + Choron's Flesh in a party could prevent the Artificer's Obelisk from spawning at the end of a Pit run. Fixed.
Notable Bug Fixes
- Ball Lightning tooltip now correctly shows the Core Skill tag again. The actual functionality was restored in the previous hotfix, but the tooltip was still wrong until now.
- Obol drops from Murl's Bag were lower than intended on higher Torment levels. Fixed - expect more Obols.
- Dirge of Odium could start removing more than 10% Max Wrath per second. Fixed.
- Sescheron's Fury Talisman was causing Barbarians to continuously shrink and grow. Fixed (but it was funny while it lasted).
- Tower progression wasn't gained when completing tiers lower than your highest. Fixed - you can now farm lower tiers for Artificer's Favor.
- Encroaching Death debuff during Tormented Echo of Duriel persisted after dying and respawning. Fixed.
- Lunging Strike's Whirling Enhancement wasn't creating Dust Devils if the enemy was too close. Fixed.
- Multiple quest progression blockers fixed across the Lord of Hatred campaign.
